ABOUT US

HOW WE PLAN OUR WALKS

Walks are graded A, B+, B, C, and D with A being the hardest and D being the easiest. This encompasses a range of options from gentle low level walks not more than 7 miles with little ascent, up to walks which may include 3000 feet of height gain over rough terrain and 15 miles or more. In general where there is a strenuous walk on the programme an easier walk is offered as an option. The Walks Convener is responsible for compiling the programme, but most of the walks are suggested by members who are willing to lead a walk.  This ensures that we always have a good choice of walks, both in terms of difficulty and geographical spread. Registered Assistance Dogs only are welcome.

You are welcome to come out as a Guest, to see how it suits you.  We ask Guests to contribute £1 towards the cost of the Club's insurance.  Annual membership is only £7.
